PRIVACY, IN PLAIN ENGLISH

What gets saved. Your email address, the chats you choose to save, and anything you write in the brain-dump journal. That's it. No tracking pixels, no selling anything to anyone.

Private chats. If you start a chat in private mode, nothing from it is stored — the messages go to the AI to get a reply and then they're gone.

Who can see it. Only you. Your chats and journal are locked to your account at database level, so no other user can read them. Justine can only see the extras requests you deliberately send through the Extras page.

The AI bit. Messages you send in a chat are passed to an AI model to generate the reply. Don't paste anything you'd never want leaving your phone — full names of professionals, medical records, that sort of thing.

Not a professional service. Mum Mate is support and a sounding board, not medical, legal or SEN advice, and not a crisis service. In an emergency call 999; Samaritans are on 116 123 free, 24/7.

Your choices. You can delete any single chat or journal entry from inside the app at any time, or wipe the whole lot below.
